Overview
"I want a 36-footer that does the family weekend without compromise — real flybridge, two proper cabins below, and outboards I can flip up at the dock."
Who this boat is for
Owners who want a 36-foot weekender with a proper second helm upstairs, two real cabins below, and outboard simplicity at the transom — a family boat that holds value because it actually solves a brief.
Hisham's take
The Antares 11 is the flagship of Beneteau's Antares line, designed by Sarrazin Design with the brief of a 36-foot pocket cruiser that doesn't cut corners. The Fly variant adds a flybridge that blends into the profile rather than fighting it — so you get a real second helm upstairs without the boat looking top-heavy. Twin Suzuki DF300B (steer-by-wire + joystick) on the back, two cabins below (forward master + full-beam aft sleeping three), two heads, panoramic salon windows, and a fold-down swim platform. CE B8/C11 — genuine offshore capability for a weekender.

Technology
Hull design — Beneteau Powerboats
The Antares 11 hull was drawn in-house by Beneteau Powerboats around the brief of a 36-foot family weekender that stays planted in a chop. Five details to know:
- 01Narrow bow angle — kept seaworthy for offshore work
- 02Flat transom — efficient at low engine RPM
- 03Recessed flat chines — stability through tight turns
- 04Spray-bow rails — dry deck even into a swell
- 05Optimised weight distribution — low centre of gravity
