Who we are
TheBoatfinder® is operated by Fisheye Solutions FZ-LLC (UAE). We publish boat reviews, curate a selected inventory of new and pre-owned boats, and act as a consultant or broker between buyers and sellers in the Mediterranean and Red Sea regions.
What we collect
- Information you provide: name, email, phone number, and the details of your enquiry when you fill out the contact form, message us on WhatsApp, or email us directly.
- Chatbot conversations: if you use the floating assistant, the messages you send are processed by an AI provider to generate a response. We do not ask the assistant to retain personal data after the session.
- Basic technical data: anonymous usage information (pages visited, device type, rough location) to help us improve the site.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and help you find the right boat.
- To send you boats, reviews, or follow-ups you've explicitly asked for.
- To improve the site, our reviews, and the AI assistant's answers.
Cookies & analytics
We use a minimal set of first-party cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages and reviews are useful. No advertising trackers, no behavioural profiling.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to keep the site running — hosting, email delivery, and the AI provider that powers the floating chatbot. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments.
